The 2017-18 Lord’s Taverners National Raffle is in full swing and, as has been the situation in previous years, there are more superb prizes up for grabs.

First prize this year is a 15-day European cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest in a twin balcony cabin courtesy of APT. The prize also includes two return economy-class airfares to Amsterdam from your nearest Australian capital city flying Etihad Airways. The prize is valued at up to $27,000.

Second prize is $10,000 worth of whitegoods for your home (recommended retail prices) thanks to Harvey Norman and Electrolux.

Third prize is a cricket kit supplied by Kookaburra, comprising bat, pads, gloves and kit bag valued at $3000.

Fourth prize is a bat autographed by the Australian cricket team.

Tickets are $5 each and funds raised go towards supporting the work of the Lord’s Taverners.

The ACT has been incredibly fortunate in this Australia-wide initiative – Lord’s Taverners ACT member Mick Letts won the first prize in last year’s raffle, while another Canberran, Jeff Gallagher won the first prize in the 2014/15 national raffle.

An added bonus is that any local sporting club or organisation which would like to sell tickets in our national raffle retains half of the cost of every ticket that it sells.
