On Sunday 24 March, the ACT’s Blind Cricket team proved too good for an invitational Tav’s XI, winning a T20 match with overs to spare at Hackett Oval.  In presenting the trophy to Blind Cricket captain, Toby, President Nan paid tribute to the skills on display from both teams.  She congratulated the Tav’s players for picking up the rules so quickly, but acknowledged that the Blind Cricket side was just too strong in the modified format.  Lord’s Taverners ACT has been a proud sponsor of the Blind Cricket ACT team for many years, helping with funds to meet uniforms and other expenses associated with competing at the annual national championships.
