Coles raffle prize supports cricket club canteen

Canberra’s Tuggeranong Valley Cricket Club has been presented with the fifth prize it won in last summer’s Lord’s Taverners’ national raffle, the Taverners Sporting Chance Raffle.

The prize was a $500 gift card, which was generously donated by Coles.

Accepting the prize on behalf of the club were Greg Lemin, Pina Kidd, Kirsty Reaks and David Drew, while presenting the prize on behalf of the Lord’s Taverners were ACT branch committee member, Adelaide Jones, Vice President, Nan Bak and President, Ric Smith.

Tuggeranong has used the funds on the gift card at Coles in Chisholm to purchase items to sell in its canteen at Saturday/Sunday cricket matches.
