The Lord’s Taverners ACT has been a proud supporter of women’s cricket in the ACT and surrounding region.
In 2016, we provided financial support for Cricket ACT’s Women’s Leadership Series, a program which is designed to enhance the leadership credentials of local players.
To complement this, the 2016 Lord’s Taverners ACT Annual Dinner was a celebration of women’s cricket.
Southern Stars all-rounder and media personality, Lisa Sthalekar (pictured below) was the guest speaker at the event, which also featured a panel of high-profile current and former international women’s cricketers.
Women’s cricket is one of the fastest growing and most exciting sports in Australia.
