We were approached by Hunter Taverners to support a gala day of cricket to be held at O’Connor ovals for people with a disability. The day featured a modified game between a team from Newcastle and a team from South West Sydney.  As both these teams are experienced with the modified game, the aim of the day was to introduce the format to local players. Concurrently, another game between ACT and region players and players from the Blind Cricket team was played on the synthetic pitch at O’Connor.

The Lords Taverners ACT, organised the hiring of the ovals and provided a barbeque lunch for the participants and their supporters.

The Lords Taverners would like to thank Stuart, Nick and Bethany from the Butcher Shop in Woden Plaza for their very generous support of this event.
