A special offer for Steve Waugh’s new book is now available for a limited time for members and friends of the Lord’s Taverners.
The new book – “The Spirit of Cricket, India” – will retail for $299 when it is generally released in the lead-up to Christmas, but those who take up the special, early-bird offer before it expires on 9 September will receive the book for just $199 plus $25 postage. In addition, the former Australian captain will personally hand-sign your copy.
The book, which contains 220 photos from Steve’s travels through India, comes in a deluxe presentation box and is limited to 3000 copies.
In addition, for those who pre-order a book before the deadline, Steve will participate in a special one-hour Zoom session (at 5.30pm Sydney time on Wednesday, 16 September) where he will speak for 20 minutes about the book and then take questions from participants.
Steve said: “I hope I have done the people of India justice with the showcased images and my quest to capture the very essence and ‘spirit’ of the game (of cricket), and the passion of the people who love it.”
