Tickets are now on sale for the 2019 Lord’s Taverners ACT Degustation and Winemakers Dinner.
This fine food and wine event will be held on the evening of Thursday, 16 May at Royal Canberra Golf Club, Yarralumla.
It will feature a five-course menu designed by Royal Canberra Golf Club’s Executive Chef, with specially matched wine for each course.
The Lord’s Taverners is pleased to announced that this year’s feature winemaker is Gallagher Wines of Jeir (near Murrumbateman), one of the Canberra region’s premier wineries.
Owner, Manager and Chief Winemaker, Greg Gallagher will be on hand to present each wine.
Wine orders can be placed at the event – at prices reduced from the cellar door – and 10 per cent of sales at the event will be donated to the Lord’s Taverners ACT, which will go towards the work the organisation does supporting local young cricketers and other athletes.
You don’t have to be a member of the Lord’s Taverners to attend the event – bookings are open to the general public.
