President Nan Bak announced today that Lord’s Taverners ACT has been nominated as a finalist in Tennis ACT’s 2024 Most Outstanding Inclusion Initiative. “Whether we win or not, we are delighted to be recognised by Tennis ACT as a trusted partner contributing to a more inclusive Canberra sporting community”, Nan said, “That what Lord’s Taverners is all about.”
The nomination springs from our very successful All-Abilities Multi-Sports Day held on 10 April this year, which saw children of a range of abilities participating in a round-robin of games, including tennis. Tennis ACT generously provided coaches and equipment for the tennis stand, and we are very grateful to CBR Cyber, who made the whole event possible with their support.
