The Lord’s Taverners 2019-2020 national raffle is a great way of raising funds for your sporting club or other local organisation, as well as backing the work the Lord’s Taverners does supporting young and disadvantaged people.
Sellers of raffle tickets, including Lord’s Taverners branches (through Lord’s Taverners members), sporting clubs or other organisations, retain a proportion of funds raised from ticket sales.
The major prizes in the 2019-2020 raffle are:
- First prize – APT 15-day Europe river cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest (or reverse) for two people (and the prize includes return economy air fares from your nearest Australian capital city);
- Second prize – Two-night Melbourne-to-Sydney Silversea cruise departing Melbourne on 29 March 2020 (and the prize includes $500 spending money);
- Third prize – Cricket kit supplied by Kookaburra, comprising bat, pads, gloves and kit bag; and
- Fourth prize – Cricket bat signed by the Australia’s one-day cricket team of 2018.
Tickets are $5 each and the deadline to buy your tickets isn’t far away – 31 January 2020. The raffle will be drawn on 15 February 2020 and prize-winners will be notified, as well as having their names published on the Lord’s Taverners Australia website.
