PM’s XI Match Dinner

The Lord’s Taverners ACT Prime Minister’s XI Match Dinner is one of the signature events on the Canberra sporting calendar.

It is traditionally held the evening before the Prime Minister’s XI Match and features high-profile guest speakers.

For many years, the event was known as the “Invincibles Dinner”, with special guests from “The Invincibles”, the Australian team which toured England in 1948 and didn’t lose a match.

The most recent Prime Minister’s XI Match Dinner took place on 1 February 2018 at Manuka Oval and the guest speaker was retired champion wicket-keeper, Ian Healy.

The next Prime Minister’s XI Match Dinner is scheduled for 30 October 2018, the night before the Prime Minister’s XI plays South Africa at Manuka Oval.

You don’t have to be a member of the Lord’s Taverners to attend this event – tickets are available to the general public.
