The Lord’s Taverners ACT pays tribute to Major General the Honourable Michael Jeffery AC, AO (Mil), CVO, MC (retired), who has passed away.
Major General Jeffery was a staunch supporter of the work of the Lord’s Taverners and was a long-term member of the Lord’s Taverners ACT. He regularly attended our events.
The committee and other members of the Lord’s Taverners ACT extended our sincere sympathies to his wife, Marlena – who has also been a loyal supporter of the Lord’s Taverners – and his family.
Major General Jeffery served in a number of public roles with distinction and was a great Australian.
