Taverners Australia Chair John Jeffries launched the 2024 Taverners Australia Raffle this week. “Our raffles have raised almost $1.3m to help the numerous organisations we assist and we really hope you can support us again by buying tickets”, John said. “Through the generosity of our sponsors, we have once again assembled a fabulous array of prizes which we’re sure will appeal to all cricket tragics. We do hope you’ll take the time to click and buy tickets to help us with our mission of giving the young and disadvantaged a sporting chance.”
Lord’s Taverners ACT President Nan Bak welcomed the 2024 raffle, noting that the proceeds from sales in the ACT come back to the ACT Branch. “The annual Taverners raffle is really important to our fundraising efforts here in Canberra”, Nan said, ” and I strongly encourage all our members to get behind it. The prizes this year are fantastic!”
The 2024 prizes are:
- 1st: Return economy airfare to London and two tickets to the Lord’s England v Australia ODI on 27 September 2024, 5 days accommodation and $1,00 spending money. Value up to $12,000.
- 2nd: Harvey Norman $10,000 gift card.
- 3rd: Kookaburra sporting gift voucher valued at $1,500.
- 4th: Cricket bat signed by the Australian men’s team.
- 5th: Cricket bat signed by the Australian women’s team.
- 6th: Coles $1,000 voucher.
